Meet Kibbles:

Kibbles is honestly the happiest dog I have ever seen! Her tail is constantly wagging and she is the most loving dog! She loves to give kisses and loves all people!

When she is really really happy she gets so excited you think she is going to wiggle right out of her skin! She has the Basset Hounds deliberate way of moving, almost like she runs in slow motion. You can't help but laugh when you see this irrisistible dog running twords you with her huge ears flapping!

She will be bred to my cocker spaniel "Duncan"to produce awsome family pets! The Hush Basset has LONG curly ears, short legs, BIG paws and above all a loyal, loving personality!

 Both Kibbles and Duncan have champion breeding, to ensure QUALITY hybrid dogs. It ensures the puppies will be trainable, love people and be incredibly cute!
Hush Bassets make great family pets for those that want a medium sized dog (between 25-50 lbs.) and for those with children that don't want to worry about their kids accidently stepping on a smaller dog.

Hush Bassets are the perfect "mini" version of the basset hound, plus add some curly hair! Hush Bassets retain that sweet cute basset hound puppy look, hence the name "hush basset" They also are a little smarter and easier to train than a full basset hound. They are more obedient and a lot healthier than purebred bassets. Super cute! Do not grow out of that basset "puppy look"

Hush Basstes also have hybrid vigor and have less health problems than purebred dogs.

They are the perfect size for people that want a dog that is large enough to enjoy outdoor activities, but small enough to be comfortable in our homes. Kibbles is a small basset hound, smaller than average and so is Duncan, so their puppies should be the perfect size!

My goal is to breed healthy, sweet, intelligent, unique family dogs. The hush bassets are just that with a lot of personality and fun! From Kibbles, her puppies will have her joyful personality, her endless tail wagging and her adorable nature. From Duncan his puppies will have his loyalty, his trainability and his obedience. By crossing these two great dogs, I am hoping to get awsome family pets!

A little about the Basset Hound:

A short legged breed of the hound dog family. They are scent hounds, bred to hunt rabbits. There nose is second only to the blood hound! They were bred to have shorter legs so that they were easier to hunt with people on foot vs. horseback. They also have proportionally heavier bone than any other breed of dog! They should have a white tipped tail to make it easier to see when hunting in brushy areas.

One of their most notable traits is there long ears and sad eyes, adding to their charm! Their loose skin and long ears are used to "trap in" and lock in to the scent they are tracking.

Their personality is second to none. They are loyal and affectionate dogs. LOVE food! Basset hounds sometimes have a reputation for not being easily trained, but I disagree. Kibbles is very smart and was very easy to house break and train. Since the basset loves food rewards, I found it easy to train her with food.

Basset hounds do not make good gaurd dogs, as they tend to be friendly twords all people. They are extremely devoted and loving to their owners making them ideal family pets.
