BOO is a small sweet CKC Registered West Highland White Terrier. She is a very happy, stout little lady weighing only 15 lbs - (unusually small for a Westie), all solid muscle. She looks like a little body builder! She likes the water and cannot pass up a puddle... :( She loves to swim in the Ohio River and ride with me on the wave-runner when we are pulling the kids on the tube. She was extremely easy to train because she quietly pays close attention & always so willing to please.

She will be bred to AKC Yorkshire Terrier "Buckshot" - grandson of the “CH Midnight Magic Man”, show Record of 88 Awards: winning 69 first place Awards, 19 second place awards, and one 3rd award!! He has a total of 16 Confirmation points with 3 Major Wins!

We have high hopes for her as a producer of some very beautiful, non-shedding, non-allergenic, and very small Fourche Terrier puppies! (West Highland White Terrier / Yorkshire Terrier Hybrid) Puppies expected June 2008.

A little about the West Highland White Terrier:

An intelligent dog who learns quickly, the West Highland White Terriers love human companionship and will play with their family indoors or out. Their size makes them great for an apartment but they are just as at home in the country. They are a hardy breed, capable of playing with children and other dogs. West Highland White Terriers make great companions for children of all ages. Easygoing, active, responsive and friendly are all the ingredients for making a Westie. They are one of the most popular breed of dogs today.

West Highland White Terriers are active, assertive, fun-loving, well-behaved and light-hearted. They are alert and friendly. They love to play. They are courageous, self-reliant and have good self-esteem. They also will kill any vermin they find around the house. (You can get rid of those yucky mouse traps!) They generally get along well with other dogs and if trained, with other pets such as cats.

West Highland White Terriers make excellent playmates for children because they can withstand rough play and highly enjoy it.
Westies have a high rating as a watch-dog. These dogs are very alert to sounds and smells of the things around them, and they will alert you with a bark.
15 + year life span. This is a long lived breed.
